Abstract:

Conflict-induced illegal migration has been termed a very pressing global issue at the present time. The same has been stated on various international platforms. This paper focuses on how armed conflicts cause migration. The vulnerability factors are discussed. We discuss people who are forced to cross international borders in search of a safe shelter and safe life, because of the reason that their homes turn into war grounds, and there is a real threat to their lives. Some light has also been thrown on the harsh realities that the refugees and illegal migrants face in their host countries, where safety and security still remain a far-fetched dream. The conflict and crisis of Iraq have been exclusively discussed. To wrap it up, an attempt has been made to enlist some loopholes that can be covered in order to control the situation
