The research paper titled ”Critical analysis on national and international laws on genocide, the refugee crisis, and citizenship”, aims to explain the concepts of the International refuge crisis by bringing in a detailed analysis of the articles of the third Geneva convention. Articles 4, 13, 14, 15, 16, and other important articles bring in an international view of the treatment of refugees. Nationally, Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) and National Register for citizens( NRC) attracted huge strikes and riots and resulted in gaining huge media attention. They have been constitutionally challenged by filing many petitions in the Supreme court of India. There are different possible perspectives on this by different learned lawyers, judges, and scholars. The concept of citizenship has gained huge importance in the constitutions of most nations surround the world. Genocide and violation of international humanitarian laws are concerning factors in terms of social and global progress at large.
